What this connection shares

Your choice. Connections are optional and off until you enable them for a signed-in inventory profile. Nothing is sent to this connection service while connections are off. Personal and fictional Demo inventories remain separate.

What is shared. An approved assistant may repeatedly search the paired profile’s permitted inventory and household-shared records. Results can include names, locations, quantities, descriptions and selected saved details. Other profiles’ private items, Deleted items, original photos and database exports are excluded. Optional changes permission permits reviewed additions, edits, restorable deletion and restoration. Personal changes require approval inside Pragmatically by default unless you deliberately choose chat-only confirmation.

Where it goes. Requests and results pass through Xbar’s relay on Cloudflare to the assistant you authorize and its provider, under that provider’s terms and retention. The database remains on your PC. This relay does not store or log inventory request or result bodies and does not use them for training or advertising.

What the service keeps. A one-way installation identifier derived from your profile’s public key; paired PC and profile labels; a one-way Personal inventory fingerprint; assistant names, permissions, temporary authorization records, replay-prevention nonces, counters and expiry times. Private keys stay on your PC. Temporary authorization codes expire after ten minutes, signed-request nonces within ten minutes, and pairings and assistant permissions after seven days. OAuth access tokens last five minutes. Device records are removed on disconnect or expiry; revoked permission records within a day. Expiring rate counters and daily rotating one-way network identifiers help prevent abuse. Cloudflare keeps its own infrastructure and security logs.

Stopping. Disconnect in Pragmatically stops new requests. An already-dispatched change is confirmed separately if the PC is offline. Disconnection cannot erase copies already received by an assistant. Contact: operator@xbar.computer. Connection terms
